Welcome to Zylopets. These Terms of Service apply when you access our website or purchase products from us.

By using our website, you agree to these terms, subject to your rights under applicable law.

1. Business information

Zylopets is an online pet-products store operating in South Africa.

The full legal identity and contact details of the seller responsible for transactions will be displayed on our website as required by law.

2. Website use

You agree to use our website lawfully and provide accurate information when placing an order.

You must not attempt to interfere with website security, misuse our services or engage in fraudulent activity.

3. Product information

We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, specifications and pricing.

Colours, packaging and minor product details may vary from photographs or supplier packaging. We will not intentionally misrepresent the essential characteristics of a product.

Customers should read product descriptions, measurements, usage instructions and safety information before purchasing.

4. Pet product safety

Customers are responsible for using products in accordance with the product instructions and intended purpose.

Where appropriate:

Supervise pets while using grooming products.
Inspect products before each use.
Stop using a product if it becomes damaged or appears to cause discomfort.
Keep unsuitable products and packaging away from pets and children.
Follow the relevant cleaning and maintenance instructions.

These precautions do not exclude or limit any legal responsibility for defective or unsafe goods.

5. Prices and payment

Prices, delivery charges and applicable costs will be disclosed before checkout.

Payment must be successfully processed before an order is submitted for fulfilment.

If a genuine pricing or listing error occurs, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable law.

6. Orders and availability

An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of an order; it does not remove our responsibility to fulfil it.

If a product becomes unavailable, we will notify the customer and provide the remedy required by law.

We will not substitute a materially different product without the customer's agreement.

7. Third-party fulfilment

Some products may be dispatched by independent suppliers or international fulfilment partners.

We remain the customer's point of contact for purchases made through Zylopets.

Using a third-party supplier does not remove any consumer rights or responsibilities that apply to the transaction.

8. Delivery

Delivery estimates and shipping charges will be disclosed before purchase.

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed. Delays may occur because of supplier processing, customs or courier operations.

Our Shipping Policy forms part of these Terms of Service.

9. Returns and refunds

Returns, cancellations, defective goods and refunds are handled under our Refunds, Returns and Cancellations Policy and applicable South African law.

Nothing in these terms limits a consumer's statutory rights.

10. Intellectual property

Website branding, original text, graphics and design elements belonging to Zylopets may not be copied or commercially reused without permission.

Third-party trademarks and product images remain the property of their respective owners or licensors.

11. Website availability

We aim to keep our website available and functioning but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may carry out maintenance, updates or security work when necessary.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights relating to defective goods, unsafe products, misleading representations or failure to fulfil an order.
